Children’s Ward
Overview
The mission of the Pediatric Department is to provide holistic quality healthcare appropriate to the individual needs of all pediatric patients and their families by a team of professionals committed to excellence in patient care in an environment that fosters a productive partnership with patient family.
Our aim is to provide excellence in healthcare to our pediatric patients in an environment which is parent / patient friendly. This environment will be fostered by training of all staff, co-management between nursing and medical staff, and allied healthcare professionals. Open communication with parent / relative and the professionals with increased involvement of parents in planning patient care will also be promoted.
When your child is admitted to the Children’s Ward, he / she will be under the care of a particular Consultant, Team of Doctors, Nurses and other Allied Health personnel. Information on your child will be provided by the doctor / Nurse-in-charge.
General Visiting Hours
Monday – Friday 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Sundays 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Rest period for all children 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
