The vision of the Infection Control Program is to improve the quality of care within this institution through active surveillance of infections and reportable diseases and by developing and implementing infection control related guidelines that will prevent and/or control hospital acquired infections.
Services
- To orientate new staff to the infection control program
- To heighten staffs’ awareness to infection control-related guidelines that will prevent and/or control transmission of infection
- To increase the overall compliance to infection control practices that will prevent / minimize Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (a difficulty to treat infection in humans) transmission and promote patient safety.
