This Exam is used to visualize the duct system of the breast. A dye (contrast) is injected into the breast ducts. No deodorant is to be worn on the day of the exam.
NB. Please inform the technologist of any allergies, especially to iodine, fish, conch or any shellfish because of the iodine contrast in dye.
