An ultrasound scan is a test ordered by the physician that uses sound waves beyond the range of human hearing. The waves detect soft like the pelvic organs, fetus, gall bladder, liver, pancreas, kidney and stomach. The sound waves sends echo or messages back to the computer which is sent to a monitor much like a television.
A full time service is provided between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. An emergency service is provided between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Monday to Friday and on weekends.
